Adaptogenic Mushroom Coffee "Latte"

Another coffee recipe, because you can never have enough?

In all seriousness, I absolutely love starting my mornings with coffee. My favorite is mushroom coffee (for its low acidity, and adaptogenic herbs which support our body combat stress.

What is the best way to consume mushroom coffee?

There is no right way to consume mushroom coffee, but I love mixing in almond milk or collagen for an added boost.

To make the mushroom coffee:

Add 7oz of warm water to a mug and pour in the powder. Stir and add in any additions you wish. Moon Juice created adaptogenic dusts (i.e. adaptogenic blends) that pair very well with this coffee.

My personal favorite brand of mushroom coffee is Four Sigmatic and Organo Gold.

The recipe that follows combines brewed mushroom coffee, chai tea, almond butter, banana, cinnamon, and ice to make a “latte” like drink- inspired by Will Frolic For Food’s Groovy Brew.

Recipe:

Serving size: 1

7 oz mushroom coffee⁣
1/4 banana⁣
1/2 tbs almond butter⁣
1/2 tsp cinnamon⁣
1/2 cup chai tea ⁣
Ice ⁣

Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients into a blender.

2. Blend on high for 30 seconds.

3. Enjoy!
